Borys Shcherba. Activities of museums in Nazi-occupied Kyiv in 1941-1943

The article is devoted to the study of the activities of museums in Kyiv during the Nazi occupation from 1941 to 1943. In Soviet historiography, this period was portrayed exclusively in negative tones. An objective and unbiased study of this difficult period in the history of Kyiv is relevant to this topic. The article examines the role of the Kyiv City Council in the process of restoring the work of museums. It is shown that, despite the difficult situation, Ukrainian museum workers have preserved the heritage of the Ukrainian people and preserved its history.
