Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the period of the Nazi occupation of Kyiv on the example of the activities of the institution of the Museum-Archives of the transition period, as the intellectual center of the Kyiv scientists.
An objective and impartial study of the period of Nazi occupation of Kyiv is the relevance of the topic. In addition, the relevance of the topic lies in the study of the archival materials of the Museum-Archive, because the institution collected and systematized data on destruction and genocide, arranged by the Soviet authorities in Ukraine from 1918 to 1941. Studying the negative influence of the Bolsheviks on Ukraine is an important part of post-Soviet consciousness, necessary for an objective understanding of the history of Ukraine.
